Advocate is a comprehensive parasitic treatment for dogs, targeting fleas, heartworms, intestinal worms (including roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms), and ear mites with a single monthly application. Safe for puppies as young as 7 weeks old and weighing at least 2 pounds, Advocate provides broad-spectrum protection, ensuring your dog remains free from harmful parasites.

Advocate contains the active ingredients imidacloprid and moxidectin, which work by penetrating the skin and entering the bloodstream, killing parasites both internally and externally. Imidacloprid disrupts the nervous system of parasites, while moxidectin provides long-lasting protection against heartworms and intestinal worms.

Regular administration of Advocate ensures that your dog remains healthy, free from the discomfort and potential diseases caused by fleas, worms, and other parasites. Its monthly application reduces the need for frequent treatments, making it a convenient and effective solution for busy pet owners.

Directions

  • Check your dog’s weight before starting treatment to ensure the correct dosage.
  • Part the hair on your dog’s back at the base of the neck and apply the Advocate directly to the skin.
  • Ensure the entire dose is applied in one spot and allow it to dry naturally.
  • Do not massage the product into the skin.
  • Advocate can begin at any time during the year to provide year-round protection.

It’s always best to consult the product label or your veterinarian for specific instructions regarding bathing after application.
